Meet our Team!

DAVID STIDGER- Owner/Founder

David, pictured with Temple Grandin, has over 7 years of experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis and working with those on the autism spectrum. As an avid autism advocate and entrepreneur, David saw a need in Huntsville, and thus started Open Door. His initial experience was in early intervention, working at a clinic in Huntsville. During his time there, he realized the need for ASD adult services. David aims to promote independence among autistic adults, and increase inclusivity in local businesses and organizations by bringing clients in.

When not at Open Door, you can find David sampling the newest Yellow Hammer IPA at a live concert, casting a fishing line, challenging his girlfriend to “quick fire” cook offs, spending time with his golden doodle and playing scrabble using words that only exist in Black Speech of Mordor.
