The world needs all kinds of minds.

How we do what we do.

Open Door provides services for teens and adults on the autism spectrum. The focus and goal for each client is increased independence, improved functioning skills and elevated self confidence. We understand that each of our clients are unique and tailor their progress plan and work environment to match their ability and improve upon any deficits. We want our clients to gain the most beneficial exposure, whether it be vocational or social.

Through our job coaching program, we pay our clients internally for their work. In exchange, they have the opportunity to contribute to the community while learning social and work skills in a neurotypical modeling environment.

Our values:

  • Respect

  • Accountability

  • Consistency

  • Inclusion

  • Structure

  • Progress

Our process

Let us get to know you and your family. We will set up an in-home intake as the first step in developing positive rapport and establishing the right independence initiative.

Open Door uses a positive reinforcement, behavioral education, live volunteer environments, and one on one job coaching. We focus on the following skills for our clients:
